  • any one using aftermarket pump?worth money?

    I have a mod. 97 xp nothing else to do to it,wondering if pump, like r&d would make noticable dif.?

      R&D does not make pumps. They make nozzels though, and they can make your ski go faster/quicker with the right impellor in the pump.

        I dont know why i said r%d i ment skat-trac.
        I have a ported motor with 185 psi. head factory spec 2 pipe,novi carbs, r&d intake man.
        and run a 17/22 prop and i run 1/2 cam 2 and 1/2 93 octane!

          You have a funny definition of 'nothing else to it'...

          Yes you will have more hookup and reloading. Unless you race though, think it over, it's NOT cheap.

                I had a guy call last week that was radaring 71 mph with his 1050 kit in his XPL. I sold him a 14 vain set back Skat Trak pump. He installed it and called me back and siad he was going 72.5 now. No other changes.

                Yes they work. Yes they are expensive.

                And yes, there are other things I could do to your ski.

                        Did you read the one about the XP787? or any of the 787 models? There are some ideas over there........
