Many people will leave their watercraft sit for a few months this winter with last seasons fuel in the tank. If this is your situation, don’t try to add fresh gas or fuel stabilizer to the old fuel. At this point, you will only end up with more bad fuel! With gas stations using gas with ethanol mixed in, the fuel seems to go bad faster then in the past. The only real choice you have is to remove the old fuel and start fresh with new fuel. Trying to run your ski on old fuel can cause a major engine failure and large repair bills.
In the future remember - if you don’t plan on operating your ski for a few months, add fuel stabilizer to your fuel tank or remove any old fuel!
