I have a 95 monte carlo that will not start. I did notice that the o rings on the throttle shaft and the choke shaft both seem to be leaking. Gas does seem to trickle into the engine, causing it to run for a few seconds, then die. I have fire and compression, just seems fuel starved. Since this was purchased used, I was going to rebuild the carb anyway, any other suggestions?

When you say you have compression how much? 150Lbs. is normal. If that is good check all fuel lines for blockage or air leaks. Next try putting a little premix in each cyl. and make sure it fires off, may not run long. Next rebuild carb and check reeds with a small mirror and flashlight when carb is off. One of these should get it going again.
