Oil Check Valve - Intake Manifold

I need to replace my Oil Check Valve as it does not pass the vacume and preasure release test as outlined in the 1995 TS Monte Carlo 640 Manual. The manual indicates to replace the check valve but offers no advise on how to do so.

I have the new Check Valve in hand... It appears to be a press fit.

What is the trick to removing the old one and installing the new one? Does it require that the intake manifold be removed and the valve be removed using a press?

Any tricks of the trade woudl be helpful...

Just twist the old one out and I use epoxy to seal the new one in "JB Weld"
