Can anyone identify this sensor on a '97 770

I removed the main electrical box, but I did not recall removing this sensor and I found it laying on the floor. Any idea what it is and where it goes on a '97 Daytona 770? Thanks.

Thats an easy one. It goes in a hole in the expansion chamber in the exhaust network. It is your temp sensor. It plugs in the wiring harness at the control box (or close to to it). you should use some dielectric grease (autozone) on the tip of it before you insert and use a paper clip to release the air trapped beneath it to ensure that it seats all the way in..Happy sking!!!!
