where does line go

bought a used torndown 95 daytona 640. There is a 1/4" clear line that starts on the hull next to the bilge outlet and runs to the back of the craft close to the impeller housing. This craft was torn down before I got it, bought a new engine from you and am almost ready to try it out. This is one of the loose ends. Could this be the battery overflow drain tube running all the way to the front of the craft.
