  • baracuda carb settings

Hey if anyone has a service manual laying around or maybe knows off the top of their head, tell me what the beginning settings are for the low and high speed mixture screws for the above mentioned ski. The engine is 639cc size (single carb of course)

    Thanks,

    Jim

Thanks Brian, but "fixed" is not the answer I'm looking for. On the 93, 94, and maybe 95, there is a lo and a hi adjustment screw.

I'll have to check our manuals Monday if no one else responds first.

          Re: baracuda carb settings

A 94 Baracuda and Daytona with a SBN 46-42-4 carb uses 1 turn out on both high and low speed, the Montego/Montego Deluxe from that year with the 44-40 and 46-42 both give the low speed one turn, high speed one and a quarter turn out. Be very wary of anyone giving carb settings unless they have the right year and model manual right in front of them. A 93 or 95 may take different settings, it will depend on the variation of carb that being used, but I'm pretty sure a 95 Barracuda uses the same SBN46-42-4 carb so it should have the same settings.
