newbie needs help

Hi i just bought a 96 montego,monte carlo not sure which one it is but i took out a spark plug and it was dark brown with a lil oil.Is this Normal ?if not please help......also how do i tune it up,please help...thanks

Normal. Check teck articles onhow to read spark plugs.

A montego will be a 9' two seater and a MonteCarlo is a 11' three seater with reverse.
