Primer System needed ??

I have two 97 tigershark 1000 Monte Carlos that are hard to start. I am new to these things. Do I need to install some other type of primer system to this thing other than the pull choke that is on it now.

Shouldn't have to. I have the same model and it fires right up. Perhaps your carbs are out of sync or need a rebuild?

They have accelerator pumps on them. Pull the top cover and look down each carb when you pull in the throttle a squirt of fuel should go down each carb. I normaly have to hold the 1000 carbs a little open when starting since they seam to be rich down low and if you pull the throttle a few times it will make it worse. This is only when the engine is hot.
