    After Reading All Of The Posts About Tigersharks, Am I Correctly Understanding That The Crankcase Of A Ts640 Is Dry?

    What Lubrication Procedure Is Neccessary For Proper Maintenance Of This Engine?

    Will Removing The Oil Pump And Using A Block-off Kit Have Any Effect On Crankcase Lubricaiton?

    All two stoke bottom ends are lubricated via the oil injection (or pre-mix). They are not a wet sump system like 4-strokes.

      when assembling a motor should you grease the bottom end rod bearings or just coat them with two stroke oil. I am guessing if you pack them with grease they will not get lubed down the road by the oil.

        No grese on anything in the bottom of a two stroke engine other than a very light coating on the seals before you install them on the crankshaft.
