640 Power Loss

96 Monte Carlo: Well, everything was going fine with my ski till the third day. The girls riding it came back and said it had no power. Jumped on and it started fine but seamed to be running at about 50% power. Idled fine, but at full throttle I could only get about 20 mph. Pulled the plugs and the front one looked fine but the rear one had a grey film on it.
What am I looking at?

thats exactly what mine had when I cracked a piston :(

The grey may be a fine aluminum 'powder' mixed with fuel that is caused from metal bits being grinded into fine dust :(

May want to pull the head and examine it further.
