i own a 98 ts770-l and i was going to jet it but i decided to wait and i was going to put the carbs back on and noticed that the high speed jets werea 85 and the dealership told me that stock was a 125 and gave me a set of 120s for it is there any reason why these would be in there and if i change to a 120 will it affect the pop off pressure

    Re: jets

Those carbs are special they have three jets in them insted of a high adjuster it has a fixed jet in it's place.

    Here are the specs:

    High speed jet 125
    Low speed jet 57.5

Fixed high speed jet 85 You wont be able to change this jet.

I would not lean them out any more than stock before you ride it. They were on the lean side from the factory. Not sure why a dealer would tell you otherwise? You should go threw the break in process with the new engine then after three tanks of fuel you can install a new set of plugs and do some plug readings to see if you need to adjust it.

Jet size has nothing to do with pop off pressure. Leave it stock if you have stock air box.
