  • 94 Monte Carlo leaning out?

Situation, 94 Monte Carlo, brand new SBT 640 installed last week. original carb, rebuilt when new engine was installed. At the time of the install, tank was pressurized to test for leaks, (none found). Popoff pressure was set to specs. Yet, the ski appears to still be leaning out from 50% on up. Idle and low speed is very good. It appears to be not getting enough fuel to maintain the high rpm. if i feather the throttle, i can keep it running after it slows down, if i hold it on, it dies and is difficult to start for a few cranks, (out of fuel?). just wondered if anyone else has any ideas about this...

fuel pump/lines if you're sure the carbs were rebuilt with new diaghrams.
