  • Daytona 1000 cooling plug?

When I got my daytona 1000 there was a plug in the left side cooling port hole. I was wondering if it should be removed when riding or if it should only be removed to flush the system? I think it is just a bypass but im not sure.

if its a plug in your cooling system outlet, remove it before you ride. I imagine it's just a dust plug to keep dirt out of the cooling system while being stored.

Some models have a restrictor in the flush outlet but should not be blocked off.

How do I know if it is a restrictor? It looks like a normal plug to me. Is it ok if I run it without the plug/restrictor?
