i have a 97 daytona 1000, when i shut off ski in water the bilbe pump will siphon water back into hull, is there supposed to be a check valve in line, is the pump bad, or is there something else wrong?? have a shop manual but doesn't really go into too many details about system, any help would be much appriciated.

The siphon lines should loop up above the waterline then down to the siphon pickup, Is this how yours are run?SBT Tech Support is here to help with your problems.
