Draining Oil

I have a '99 GP760 and an '01 GP800 that I bought used and both need oil. Do I need to drain what is currently in the oil tanks or can I just add oil on top?

If I have to drain, what is the best method?

All I can offer to the question... is make sure the oil they currently have in them is what you are going to use. I've heard that mixing brands is not a good idea. Whomever you bought the skis from should let you know if they used Yamalube or another brand. Good Luck! :)

I got them at an auction (risky, but got a great deal) and have no idea whom the previous owner was or what kind/brand of oil are in them. I would assume they have yamalube, but don't want to assume too much...
