Bearing and Seal Install Tools

2001 SUV 1200

Going to remove and replace the intermediate housing bearing and oil seals. Yahama book (pg 5-40) says to use a Bearing Outer Race Attachment tool - YB-06016 with a driver rod YB-06071. Looks like the tool is made to install the bearing and also the oil seals

Anybody know where to get these tools. Nope, I really don't want to use a socket.

My Yamaha dealer says that it would take 2 months to get the tool. Yikes.

I replied to your other post, get the whole kit from Dennis Kirk $125 or so and free shipping, no need to buy a seal driver kit you might just use once. Then all you got to do is press in your shaft, was easy.

They do not have anythng but the WSM Intermediate housing only.

I got that WSM Housing, and side by side w/ my old one it matches EXACTLY w/ OEM, and a lot cheaper.
