What would be the best mods to gain bottom end and possibly some top end? I like the power up top but just want more out of the hole. I was looking into a intake grate, ride plate, impeller. Mainly im looking for the most effective mods to do first without really getting into the motor. Thanks

Don't forget the pump stuffer kit to help with the cavitation.

Aftermkt impeller, Riva top loader intake grate, Riva pump stuff kit should help both the bottom and top end. May also want to go with an after mkt ride plate. Contact Carl @Island Racing for specific recommendations for your specific ski (516/883-0090).

Once you get it set up, let us know what you went with and how its working out.

        Nitro,

If you havent already done so, waveeater clips and a D-Plate with chip should be your first two purchases. These will insure your engine will run for a long time.....then you can worry about making it faster.

NITRO---We offer a Performance Kit that is basically what you are looking for. Our LEVEL 1 concentrates on "bolt on's" in the pump area, and WILL make a substantial improvement in performance.

Also I would look into adding a D-plate and PV Clips & Couplers. This is more for reliability than performance, but slight gains can be found from adding the PV Couplers due to syncrinizing the pv's

Without the Powervalve Clips, you will soon be using SBT for more than a forum. Make sure they are your first purchase.

yeah i am going to get the clips and a D-plate. I am going to hold off on the other mods right now because i am in the process of trying to buy a blaster for the surf riding so i dont kill my ski. This winter I am gonna stock up on some aftermarket parts so i will be even happier when the warm weather comes in the spring

go to www.waveeaterproducts.com....they invented the clips so you might as well go direct....they have install directions on their site, and they send them to you as well.

With my D-Plate I didnt replace any gaskets and it sealed fine. That is up to you. By the time I removed my cat-con it had broken and lodged in the pipe...hope you have better luck.....
