        I recently acquired a WV1100 with a slightly tough choke cable too.
        Hmm....this makes me wonder....:emoticonn

        On motorcycles, they make a cable lubing kit, with a spray can and a clamp used to force the lube into the cable. If you (may have to disconnect the cable from the carbs to be able to determine if the problem is the choke itself, or the cable) and force some lube down there, wonder if it would help with the stiff cable/choke issue. At the bare minimum, at least it will lube the cable and prevent any further corrosion in the cable itself. If it does not help, then maybe the fogger hitting the choke itself will help. My primary riding is the Orlando lakes, but the previous owner did claim he rode in salt sometimes. I am sure given the fact that this guy had little details, that he lacked the proper knowledge to prevent this. Thanks to this site...I DO! :emoticonb
