Yee Haw!!! New Sbt Motor Runnin'!

98 GP1200...ok...so I got her started up right off the bat after I figured out I had forgotten to punch in the code...now...I got her to idle for about 6 minutes...was trying to warm her up to break in...She died on me after this, cannot seem to get her started back up??? Keeps crankin, but nothing... The rpms read at 1500 .. this is out of water...I read somewhere it should be idling at 3000 out of water with no load??? The idle adjustment is that T bar on the first carb? Which way do I turn it?

Somewhere betwee 2500 and 3000 out of water. Turn the screw you are referring to clockwise.
