  • Crank seals?

I took my ski to a shop to have it diagnosed. I rebuilt the enginve last year after one of my piston rings broke and caused some mayhem. One of my spark plugs is turning white and I can't pinpoint the cause. I guess it's either an airleak or a carb problem. Anyone, I threw in the towel and decided to let a pro figure it out. He agreed with my diagnosis, but also said that it could be the crank seals. That sounds expensive to me..... It's a 97 Yamaha Venture 760. This ski has been great, I just don't know how much money it's worth on spend on it. Can anyone give me a general idea on what it costs to replace crank seals. I will be having a shop do the work.

Should be able to replace the seals for about $300-$400 dollars, mostly labor.
