Main jets = High speed?

For the SBN 44 Mikuni carbs on my 1997 GP1200 when everyone says main jets I'm assuming they mean the high speed circuit and pilots refers to the low speed. Is this correct?

yes, but keep in mind that the carbs are more compley than just two jets.

You have low speed jet and adjuster also have high speed jet and adjuster. Pop off pressure and needle and seat settings play a big role also.
