Re: FX140 Check Engine Light Warning - Problem Solved
Just wanted to let everyone know I fixed the problem. Turns out one of the black hoses in the intake area had come off. These hoses seem to move on the tubes easy so keep an eye on them. After putting the hose back on I still got the fault so I asked the dealer about it and he said it might be dirty air filter. I removed the air filter and still got the fault. Then I replaced the filter with one from my other FX140 and the problem went away. Ran it for 10 minutes on the hose without a problem.
Put the "Bad" filter in my other FX140 and it ran fine too. Guess it just needed to run a couple of times with the hose back on to make it work right. Thanks to everyone that helped. Hopefully the problem will not return when I go out riding.
