95 waverunner No Spark Please help

I put it in the water and it started right up for about 10 seconds then quit. Turns over great but no spark. Anyone know if that was a common problem and how to fix it. thanks,ben.

Yeah i tried that but still nothing. I took apart that black box where the coil is and the relay clicks when i hit the starter but i thought maybe it was the coil. How can you check if the coil is good or bad?

I am not real sure how to test the coil but i tested the wires up to the coil and it was getting 12v while turning it over so i would assume if i have powere to the coil that the coil is bad. Would that be right. I also tested ohms on coil and it read 0 but i don't know if that is right or not. Please give me some insight. thanks,ben.

remove spark plug caps from wires and check for spark again.

14v standing (new battery today)
13.5 v cranking. Power up to the coil, i put a voltmeter on the orange wire going in and it has good power there so thats why i think it might be the coil. let me know. thanks,ben

Do you know how to check resistance? Ignition coil orange wire to black wire .10 ohms......4k ohms (4000) plug wire to plug wire

wires from engine/charge coil Brown with white tracer wire to black 365 ohms

pulsar coil white with red tracer wire to black 14 ohms

I have seen some charge coils go bad over the years
Don't go by volts on orange wire.....................

Turned out to be bad cdi unit. Now it runs like a top. thanks for all the help:D
