hey bryan Question on redtops

Im getting some mikuni 44 red tops. I actually got them but im waiting on the stock intake manifold and the linkage.
my motor is stock inside. the bore of the carbs have been completely bored out. What do you think I should start on the jetting and the high speed screws. I think the low speed screws have been blocked off. either that or theire missing.
Can I use the ones off my 38s?

I don't know if anyone can accurately answer that question over the net...I *think* a safe point to start from would be 120 pilot 110 main, and go from there. Set your pop-off at 18-20 and use a 2.3 n&s. You'll probably need a 95g spring to start with. I can't imagine anyone blocking off the low-speed screw holes - I would bet they are just missing, and you should be able to use the screws from the 38's.
