  • Yamaha GP760 porposing

I have a 1997 Yamaha GP760. What aftermarket parts would reduce porposing? I heard of shim ride plate, ajustable sponsons, and add trim tabs. When it is going over 30mph in rough water, the boat bounce so bad that after 30 mins of riding, I get arm pump.

Thank you very much for your help.

You heard right. The ride plate from a 1997 GP1200 and trim tabs form either Riva or Pro-Tec are the best fix. Aftermarket sponsons can also help, but will scrub speed.

... and shimming the back of the rideplate (oem GP1200 or Riva/R&D aftermkt) with a couple of fender washers will help as well. The shimmed ride plate and the billet trim tabs are a must for these ski's
