must have choke out to run

yamaha 1100 wave raider will only start with starting fluid and also must have choke out once running to ride. and will not go over 40 mph . im new to web site thanks for all help

check compression and if ok fix carbs.....

First thing,DONT use starting fluid!!


You need all the lubrication possible,starting fluid will wash the lube off the internal parts;not good..

And if the choke is needed to run,then you have some fuel issues;most likley carbs need attention.
