I have a quick question about the removal of the intermidiate shaft. I have removed all of the bolts on the housing and the shaft assembly will not pull out. Is there a clip or somthing that locks it into the jet drive or should it just pull out. I have looked at the parts diagrams and dont see anything that could be holding it in. Thanks for the help!!!

it's hanging up on the little dowel pins. Pry and tap on coupler to separate.... -

Easier to remove if you remove jetpump,as it splines into the intermediate shaft.and you should be looking at the main shaft splines anyway.Make sure you notate shim location if installed@ bearing housing,Good luck,Regards,Rick.YoSA "Best Yamaha Dealer in the Lone Star State"Comment
