i have a '91 yamaha lx that fried an engine. something got under a reed valve and starved the back cylinder. ruined crank, bearing, and cylinder wall. thinking of ordering an engine and rebuilding it but wondering if it makes sense to put a $1000 in this ski. we use it to let the grandkids ride. nothing fancy just something else to do at the lake. it had been getting a lot of use. usually 3-6 hrs per day. would it be reasonable to expect several hundred hours out of an engine from your company. thanks.
