701 Charge Coil Specs

Does anyone know if the two charge coils below have the same specs and if they are interchangeable?

I have posted the specs for the 1998 coil but don't have specs for the 1993 coil. For some reason I can pickup the 1993 coil for 1/2 the price!

(498 ohm - 608 ohm)

The 6M6 have around 350ohms, which is an issue, but not as big an issue as the fact that the diameter on the 62T flywheel and backing plate is smaller than the 6M6 set up. They physically don't interchange. Rexa.

Yes I understand, but the bar the coil is wound onto is a different radius with different bolt locations. I learnt this at 2.30am one morning when we were fixing a blaster 701 twin carb (62T bottom end) with a crook source coil, and we stripped a 95 701 (6M6/61X type) to pinch the source coil. REXA.
