I need to repaint my RIVA pipe that was red.

My RPM kitted Riva pipe needs a repaint,i stripped back to alloy.
What type of paint do i use?
1. A 2 POT with no primer
2. A primer with a quick drying paint
3. The Paint shop said DON"T use a itch primer.
What does Riva Use,this paint took some getting off with paint stripped ,and steam cleaner even took my skin off to.

Do not use a primer, and any engine high-temp enamel will work fine.
