Expensive spark plugs...difference?

I have an old old old yamaha WR500 and wanted to get everything I can from the ski. Saying that, does if payoff spending the money and getting higher end spark plugs? Currently I'm running NGK B8HS and any recommendations/infor would be greatly apppreciated.
