You have no clue. $2000 is a great deal for a swap on that motor.

Probably about $2500 or so...but it really depends on your area and what someone is willing to pay...

So the oil line on the no. 3 cylinder came off at the same time you had water ingestion? It seems like an odd coincidence - unless you accidentally knocked the line off while you were working on getting the water out of the motor.

This is what I am thinking is the case. Do you think that if this is true I should just replace the 3rd cylinder and skip the rebuild? I have already paid to rebuild 2 engines this year and money is tight.
