impeller size

my 1989 waverunner 500 needs a new impeller. I see that solas has 2 models, a 13/18 and 14/19. Which one would you guys recommend. Thanks, dave

Turbo, you need a lot more power to push the 14/20 go with the smallest you can get , you dont want to lose any bottom end,if you port the cylinder and add reeds ,head mill, flame arrestor ,44mm carb, and a pipe(hard to find) ,you would be able to benifit from the 14/20, but not yet, my 500 went 41-42 gps. but that was all...

I have an impeller /and pump you can have real cheap. I sold my 500 last year and still have some extra parts.

It looks to have some time since you posted your last forum. I was wondering if you stilll had that impeller? I was looking for an aftermarket Solar impeller.
