I'd think that the higher the compression, the higher the pressure in the head.. the more likely to blow the head gasket, thus, torquing the head bolts/nuts to a higher rating would lessen the chance of a blown head gasket.
LOL - no. The head is either torqued correctly or it's not, it has no dependance on the compression. The torque specs are dependant on the size and material of the bolts and cylinders.
