Greetings,
i have a 92 wr3 the engine is relativly fresh. For mods it has a SS impellar, an aftermarket flame arrestor, the choke removed (primer installed), and re-adjusted pop off to 25 psi. It ran great that way. I purchased an aftermarket head to raise the compression. With the stock head it pumped 135 psi on both cylinders, with the new head it pumps 150 on both. Does this sound safe? I have not run it yet in the water, only on the hose. I thought I would open the HS adjuster 1/4 turn to start. Any input, I don't want to hurt it. I would like a bit more torque we use this old work horse to pull tubes, and wake boarders, and a bit more grunt would be great. BTW I only use 93 octane, and I premix 40 to 1.
Thanks
