Hey Bryan,
I'm Doug, the same guy who stopped by sbt this week. I removed the waterboxes, the muffler, everything is fine. I pulled the engine, and pulled the plugs, and when I turn the crank, I can here something is rattling around the crankcase. I'm assuming this is bad. The engine is from sbt, got it in feb. 02. I was told not to crack the case, just to bring the engine by sbt. My question is, should there be any rattling at all in the crankcase (sounds as if something broke off inside and is rattling around)? I assumed not, just wanted to be certain. By the way, the young lady I spoke with to make a warranty claim was incredible, I can't say enough good about you guys!
