The information that I am able to find on this topic is really mixed. Can I safely tow an FX160 at high speed over an extended period of time (e.g., tow at 22 knots continuously for 5 hrs)? Thanks.

Definitely pinch off the intake line. If you tow the ski somewhat regularly you may want to add a ball valve to make it somewhat easier to do. With some extra hose and a battery switch, I rigged mine so that when the valve is closed the switch must be off - It is important to remember to shut the valve when towing, but just as important to open it when you start to drive again.Comment
