PV actuator cam

How can I remove the actuator cam from the PV actuator rod on a '99 XL 1200 Ltd ?

You don't. You remove the rear section of exhaust to make room to slide it out.

Thanks Bryan; Got it apart and back together ok. Since the shaft is metal, and the cam wheel appears to be plastic, just thought maybe it would come apart.......?
