  • Pre-Mix Question

98 Xl 1200, I am going to block off the oil pump on my ski and have read that 50:1 is the correct ratio, but I have just one more question. I own two 2stroke dirtbikes and use MAXUM CASTOR 927 http://www.maximausa.com/products/2stroke/castor927.asp
and am wondering if this oil will be ok to run in my ski?
    Any help greatly appreciated

    Re: Pre-Mix Question

Maxima Castor927 is excellent stuff and can be used. The only thing with castor is that it does tend to leave build-up inside your exhaust. for similar price, go for the Maxima FormulaK2 100% synthetic or something equivelent like Klotz R50. With the "higher end" oils you should be fine with 50:1. I usually recommend 40:1 though.

Maxima "Super-M" is also an excellent choice
