FX140 Aftermarket Air Filter

Is there any difference in the Riva power filter and the R&D filter? Looks like the R&D might be cheaper.

They are basically the same part except the rubber is molded a little differently and I believe the riva has round holes vs square on the r&d to let the air in. Performance wise no difference.
We have the R&D's in stock.

If I add the Riva or R&D filter/stack kit to our FX 140s will this void my Yamaha extended warranty?

only if you have a warranty problem and the dealer finds the filter and chooses to blame it on it....

LOL... what the heck does that mean?
I take that to mean the answer is yes. So these aftermarket parts can void my warranty... why in the heck would I want to use them then.
