I have a 96 waveraider 1100 with 50hrs. The machine is mint but i took it out last weekend for the first time in about a month and it was hard to start at first but i got it going. Once in the water i gave it gas and it bogged right out(choke in). I had to pull the choke all the way out, give it gas while pushing the choke in to about 1/4 and then it would run fine till i slowed down and it would bogg out and shut off. It would start right back up with choke in but would have to pull all the way out and slowly push to about 1/4 choke to start running again. Is it carbs that need cleaning? Could it be a problem with the choke?

Remove and reuild them.No cleaner will bring them back.
All carbs need rebuilt every now and then you should not wait till it's to late or you will toast your motor.

It is a fairly easy job if you are mechanically inclined.
Don't forget to overhaul your fuel pump and inspect your pulselines while you are at it.J-me
