whenever I try so start my 99 GP 1200 I just get a loud buzz from the electrical box. thanks for any help.

Use some sandpaper on your battery terminals and get the corrosion off. Then use some all purpose grease and put a little on the terminal and the positive and negative wires (the ends that meet the battery)...this happened to me last summer. -
