99 XL 1200 or 97 Sedoo XP?

Just looking for opinions from Yamaha owners. I have a decent running Sedoo XP, but might purchase a 99 1200. Should I put money into the Seadoo, or pick up the 1200, provided it runs well? What are known issues with this
