  • 2000 XLL1200 Stumble

Have a 2000 XLL with a recent rebuild via SBT. Problem is that it has a stumble/hesitation during take-off. This has occured during the intial break in period and the plugs haven't been changed for the new tank yet. Question is, would the overrich state of the first tank cause this stumble or do i need to adjust the carbs. If adjustment is required whats the best baseline to start from ...ie 2 full turns out on each then adjust from there? Is there a Carb sync for dummies..LOL

    Things fixed or changed:
    SBT Motor
    Carb Rebuild
    D Plate
    Temp Sensor bypass kit.

Ski had 70 hours on it when motor blew originally.

The carbs should not need adjustment, nor is it possible on stock carbs. First, make sure your accellerator pumps are squirting fuel - then I would suspect the carb rebuild job.
