    IS IT COMMON FOR THE 1100'S TO SMOKE AT IDLE? NO MODS. AFTER IDLING FOR 1-2 MIN LOTS OF WHITE SMOKE. Local shop said there is no adjustment for this.

    That's correct and normal. The 1100 did not use a variable rate oil pump and it does get very smokey at idle.

      Normal, even with pre-mix... That big ole water box is a dead air zone, so it just collects the smoke at idle (no velocity at idle), till you yank the throttle to purge the exhaust system. I take and "blip" the throttle every little bit to keep the exhaust system clear.
