engine installation questions 2000 Yam GP760
Sheared a bolt when installing flywheel cover. Any reason I cant get bolt from local hardware store? Is it stainless steel? hardness?
A spare washer appeared as I was reinstalling flywheel cover. Outer width was about 11mm, inner about 6.5mm. Very similar to washers used to bolt on the cover. Was covered in grease like it was inside the flywheel cover. Possibly picked up by magnets inside cover while sitting in shop? Concern is did it come from inside, flywheel? starter? starter gears?
Planning on going premix. If I read FAQ correctly mix should be 50:1?
Do I use tie wraps on pulse and fuel lines or should I get hose clamps? Can you pull them tight enough?
During breakin, do I run breakin oil plus the normal oil or just the breakin oil?
