Hello- I am new to this board and hope to become active. I have riden many waverunners in the past, but have never owned one. Recently I was offered the opportunity to get a 1992 Yamaha VXR 650 in a trade. I live 10minutes from 2 large lakes, and decided to take the plunge and snatch it up.
I just got it today and can't wait to get it out on water, but have to wait until I get the registration all taken care of.
Was hoping that somebody could give me some specs on these things. I haven't found much on the net about them. What kind of power and speed should I expect from this machine?
I am a hot rodder and all my vehicles eventually get souped up. I'm sure that will eventually be the case with this thing. What type of performance parts are available out there and what types of mods do ya'll suggest?
