My 1996 1100 Yamaha dies when you let off the throttle. At first I thought it was just cold natured because after awhile it would stop doing it after a long warm up. Now you have to choke to go after it dies and then it goes through the same cycle.
Wide open it runs great. Is is just when you let off the throttle when it dies.
