I am considering purchasing a '95 Yamaha 1100. The asking price is in the ball park of NADA values. The ski appears to be in good condition and has less than 80 hrs. on it. The ski has been for sale for a couple of months which makes me leary of the model. Is there any particular issues with this year and model of ski that I ned to be aware of? Your input is greatly appreciated.

The only thing they had some problems with are the ignition electronics, they are suseptible to damage from vibration, since they are mounted right on the engine. Not bad at all to cruise around with though!

i had a 96 raider a while back and i found it to be a little boring to ride (just my opinion though). great reliability and plenty of power. the hull is just a little outdated. great first ski if you can get it for a good price.

That 'ski doesn't like rough water very much.....very reliable though.

Impeller housing shrinks down the stainless wear ring if used in salt water.
